Branding information (PURPOSE, CI, etc.) has started to be widely used on Japanese corporate websites.
However, there are many employees who do not understand or do not know their company's branding (PURPOSE and CI).
We explored the cause of this and designed a branding (PURPOSE and CI) page that is easy to understand for everyone, not just employees.
PROBLEM
問題提起
Surprisingly, many employees are unaware of the company's branding (PURPOSE and CI).
In the future, it will be more important than ever to shorten the distance between a company and its customers.
In order to achieve this, it is necessary to develop the company's branding correctly, but before that, it is most important for each employee to understand the company's branding (PURPOSE and CI) correctly.
Why are so many employees unaware of their company's branding (PURPOSE and CI)?
The answer lies in the difficulty of understanding the branding structure.
It is necessary to have a design that visualizes the position of PURPOSE and CI in the branding structure in a way that is easy to understand.
OBJECTIVE
目標
The purpose of this project is to shorten the distance between branding and employees and improve their understanding of branding by visually expressing the positions of PURPOSE and CI in an easy-to-understand manner on the website.
Specifically, as you can see from the formula MI + BI + VI = CI, MI (philosophy) is the most central and core part of CI.
BI (behavior) and VI (vision) are added to MI in turn, and the combination of these three becomes CI, which is supported visually.
APPROACH
手法
Visualization 01
Each time you tap on a page, the design shifts to the PURPOSE → CI → VI → BI → MI page. A circular object is placed at the top of each page.
This object represents the CI as a whole, and its color and size change in conjunction with the page being displayed. This change in color and size allows the user to get a sense of where the page being viewed stands in the CI.
Visualization 02
The design starts with the About US page, and each time you tap on it, it moves to the CI → VI → BI → MI → PURPOSE page.
The button at the bottom of the screen represents the CI as a whole, and the color and size of the circle changes as you move through the pages.
The color and size of the circle changes as the user progresses through the page, making it possible to understand the origins of the CI and the hierarchy of each identity.
